The key to investment outsourcing is for both adviser and discretionary fund manager to view it as a partnership, says Cazenove Capital business development director Simon Cooper in this video interview.

Speaking to Professional Adviser editor Julian Marr in the above video on the business case for outsourcing investment, Cooper notes that Cazenove Capital's discretionary fund management (DFM) team has been working with the adviser community for more than 15 years. "Over this period, it has evolved to encompass a number of different investment areas - from ‘plain' portfolio management for underlying clients to even morphing into banking and other specialist investment areas, which a number of clients actually come to the advisers with," he explains.
