'Something needs to be done': Advisers mull over December election

Views on Brexit will be the decider

Planworks managing director and paraplanner Nathan Fryer described the upcoming general election as a "proxy-referendum" on Brexit - and it seems other advisers would agree.

Some popular figures from the advice profession spoke to Professional Adviser about their views on a December 12 election and how they thought the results might affect their clients. As frustrating as the political process had become for Fryer, he hoped the election would bring about some action on Brexit. "If the outcome had been implemented when the decision was first made, we could be, you know, quite a way into negotiations with the rest of the world and on doing trade deals etc." he said.
