Tenet acquires Edinburgh IFA in latest buyout

Adviser network and support group Tenet has completed its first practice buyout in Scotland with the acquisition of Forth Financial Services.

The deal with the Edinburgh IFA will see Tenet retain the Forth Financial branding. Forth had been working with Tenet for nearly two decades before being fully acquired by the network in a deal that adds £58m assets under management to its books. Tenet chief executive Mark Scanlon said: "I'm delighted that Forth has chosen to continue its journey with Tenet. Starting as a network member, the firm then became directly authorised, retaining its relationship with Tenet via our compliance services.
