Intrinsic's Lighthouse acquisition receives court approval

£4m of share options exercised today

The scheme of arrangement through which the £42.2m acquisition of Lighthouse Group by Quilter and its advice arm Intrinsic Financial Services is being implemented has today received the necessary court approval.

According to Lighthouse, the scheme will become effective once the court order has been delivered to the Registrar of Companies, which is expected to take place on Wednesday (12 June). "Dealings in Lighthouse shares will be suspended with effect from 7.30 a.m. on 12 June 2019," the company said in a statement. "Subject to the scheme becoming effective, it is expected the admission to trading of Lighthouse shares on AIM will be cancelled at 7.00am on 13 June 2019.
