Criterion Tec appoints Billy Burnside managing director

Professional standards and governance services provider Criterion Tec has appointed Billy Burnside as its managing director.

He will join the company in June to replace Caroline Mansley, who has occupied the role on a part-time basis since June 2017. Burnside (pictured) will help with Criterion's progress with initiatives such as STAR, a collaboration between Criterion and TeX that is seeking to drive down transfer times across the long-term savings sector. Burnside worked at Aviva and its direct-to-consumer and adviser platforms from 2007 to 2019 before he spent the last two months as a director at Deloitte.
