Jacqueline Lockie told delegates at PA360 that advisers can better understand clients by obtaining a financial plan of their own.
Speaking at the Professional Adviser's flagship event last Thursday, the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investment (CISI) head of financial planning joked that few in the audience seemed to put their hand up when asked if they have their own financial plan.
