LGIM launches income share class for Target Return fund

Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) has launched a sterling income share class for the L&G Multi-Asset Target Return fund in response to client demand for regular income.

LGIM said it is seeing increased demand from investors for products offering a regular cash flow, namely in the retirement market, and hopes the fund will become "a core holding". Launched in 2015, the L&G Multi-Asset Target Return fund targets returns of cash +5% per annum over rolling three-year periods alongside capital preservation and has historically yielded 3%.
