Digital wealth pioneer Nutmeg has secured £45m of investment in a funding round co-led by investment banking firm Goldman Sachs.
The funding round, which is subject to regulatory approval, means the company has now attracted some £116m of investment since its launch in 2012. Hong Kong-based advisory firm Convoy, which was already invested in Nutmeg, also co-led the funding round. In October 2018, the online investment manager revealed it was piloting a fixed-fee financial advice service in a bid to "open up the market" at what it said would be "a fraction of the cost".
