Aegon extends Atos partnership to 1.4 million customers

Aegon has extended its partnership with digital transformation firm Atos to service and administer almost one million more of the life company's non-platform customers.

Aegon said the deal would improve customer service for around 1.4 million existing customers under a multitude of different policy types. Atos has serviced and administered Aegon's 500,000 protection customers since 2016 but the new contract is extending the firm's remit.  The teams currently supporting the existing business will remain in Edinburgh. Aegon will continue to be the product provider and will continue to carry out the regulatory responsibility for its existing products, some of which stretch back 40 years.
