Newell Palmer's 51st acquisition adds £35m FUM

Newell Palmer has completed its 51st acquisition with the purchase of Stourbridge, Birmingham-based Sense Wealth Management.

The acquisition will bring 100 active clients to the consolidator and these will be serviced by the advisory team at Newell Palmer's Wolverhampton office. Newell Palmer will not be retaining any staff from Sense Wealth Management as the only outgoing financial adviser, principal Steve Wootton, is pursuing interests outside the industry. The acquisition will add some £35m to the firm's total funds under management (FUM), which is now in excess of £2.3bn.
