The financial services' twitterati has overwhelmingly backed the lang cat's Mark Polson as the financial services personality people would most like to see join the fake-tanned cast on ITV's Love Island.

More than half (51%) of the 134 voters wanted to see Polson appear on the reality dating show, which usually features sun-drenched 20-something models boasting six-pack abs (compulsory) and three GCSEs (combined). Some 3.4 million people tuned in for the first episode of this year's series of Love Island, according to The Sun - figures that surely would have catapulted Polson to instant stardom (#marketing), and opened the door to a career promoting weight-loss tea bags on Instagram.
