A Staffordshire-based financial adviser has had his first book published after a chance meeting with a publisher at a networking event.
Jon Carvell, who owns Outwoods Financial Planning, a partner firm of advice giant St James's Place, wrote ‘Choas in Camelot' some 15 years ago. Carvell told Professional Adviser writing had been his hobby since childhood but he had never seriously considered writing for a wider audience. When he wrote the book, he did so just for himself and friends. However, Carvell met publisher Lisa Greener through his work in advice.
