The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) has appointed Michael Cole-Fontayn as its new chairman.
Cole-Fontayn will formally become CISI chairman from October 2018 when current chairman Sir Alan Yarrow retires after completing nine years in the role. Cole-Fantayn's term of office will initially be three years. After 35 years in financial services at BNY Mellon, Cole-Fontayn is currently chairman of the Association of Financial Markets in Europe, which he will continue doing alongside his new role at the CISI.
