NS&I takes modernising step with new phone service for advisers

NS&I has launched a new phone services for advisers, which will allow them to access information on their clients' holdings more quickly.

Previously, requests for information were only available by post and could take as long as two or three weeks. NS&I said the information would be available almost instantly now following feedback from advisers highlighting the need to make the savings organisation easier to work with. The new NS&I Adviser Helpline will offer client information, including balance and valuations, annual and ad-hoc statements, maturity dates, transaction information, and other account details.
