DFM forced to deny links with British Steel introducer and adviser

Discretionary fund manager (DFM) Gallium Fund Solutions has denied any wrongdoing or inappropriate professional links to an adviser and an introducer firm at the heart of the British Steel saga.

Gallium found itself linked to the British Steel Pension Scheme controversy after Active Wealth, an advice firm at the centre of the story, invested its clients into a Newscape-owned fund via the DFM. The DFM denied the existence of any further connection between itself and Active Wealth, and said no fees or commission had been paid to the firm from either itself or its appointed representative, Vega Algorithms.
