Wells Fargo AM recruits Schroders' multi-asset pair

Roles focus on portfolio construction

Wells Fargo Asset Management has hired Peter Weidner and Mark Brandreth from the Schroders multi-asset team, reuniting them with their former head of multi-asset investments Nico Marais.

Weidner will join as head of factor solutions and Brandreth will be a senior portfolio manager in the multi-asset solutions team.  They join head of multi-asset solutions Nico Marais, who left  Schroders in June 2016. He had worked as head of multi-asset investments and portfolio solutions teams. Based in London, Weidner and Brandreth will report to global head of portfolio solutions Dan Morris.
