Aviva launches new platform as experts warn of 'inevitable glitches'

After a five-day shutdown of its platform, Aviva has confirmed it has completed its re-platforming project and is up-and-running with all of its advised clients successfully transferred onto the new service.

Aviva's platform team completed its mass client data migration over the course of the weekend and set the new platform live for advisers and clients this morning. A spokesperson for the company said: "All clients have been successfully migrated to the FNZ-powered platform and all advisers have access - all migrated client data has been successfully checked. In line with plans, some historical data will be made available over coming weeks. "We are and will remain vigilant over the next few weeks in the event of any issues, and have robust processes in place to address these." Platfo...
