Former Barings investment director James Ind has joined Pictet Group as head of multi-asset flexible and single asset discretionary solutions.
Ind (pictured) was multi-asset manager and investment director at Barings for two years before leaving last September.
He joined Pictet as head of multi-asset flexible and single asset discretionary solutions in October.
Although they did not work together at Barings, the move sees Ind follow in the footsteps of the former Barings multi-asset trio of Andrew Cole, Shaniel Ramjee and Percival Stanion who also left Barings for Pictet in 2014.
Prior to this, Ind worked at Man GLG as senior portfolio manager and at Russell Investments as managing director.
Ind's role on the Baring Dynamic Absolute Return fund was taken over by Merrick Styles.
A spokesperson for Pictet confirmed Ind had joined the firm.
