Aviva Investors launches OEIC mirror of Global Equity Endurance SICAV

Aviva Investors has unveiled an OEIC version of its $728m Global Equity Endurance fund in order to provide IFAs with the OEIC and SICAV option.

The group launched the SICAV version of the fund on 21 November 2016 and said an OEIC version would provide more flexibility for investors.  Managed by Aviva Investors fund manager Giles Parkinson, the fund aims to deliver defensive returns through a high-conviction, low turnover basket of stocks. It invests in global companies which are leaders in their respective markets and are less sensitive to the market cycle. The SICAV has returned 16.3% in sterling terms since launch, according to FE, versus 14.1% for the FO-Equity International sector, as at 3 January. Parkinson said: "...
