SJP's Bellamy to join Weatherbys private bank as chairman

Outgoing St James's Place (SJP) chief executive David Bellamy, who announced his intention to exit the firm in February, is set to join Weatherbys Bank as chairman.

Bellamy (pictured) will replace Johnny Weatherby, who will continue at the bank as a non-executive director. It was announced SJP chief financial officer Andrew Croft would succeed Bellamy, after the latter said he planned to leave the advice giantat the end of this year. Bellamy has stepped down from the SJP Board after 26 years as an executive, the last 11 of which he served as chief executive.
