SJP stops accepting British Steel pension transfer business

St James's Place (SJP) has confirmed it will no longer be accepting transfer requests from members of the British Steel Pension Scheme (BSPS).

The advice giant has become the latest firm to close its doors to BSPS member transfer business. Advice firms located close to British Steel sites, such as Niche IFA in Prot Talbot, have closed their doors to new business because it could not keep up with demand.  An SJP spokesperson said: "St. James's Place has decided that we will no longer be accepting new transfer requests from members of the BSPS.
