Charles Stanley begins 'wave' of financial planning hires

Charles Stanley has hired five new staff to its financial planning division, marking the "first wave" of what it has said will be a "significant strengthening" of its financial planning team.

Julie Goodman, Anne McClean and David Hume will all join the wealth management firm's London office as financial planners, arriving from Bellpenny, Mercer & Hole and Close Brothers Asset Management respectively. Adam Swift, who also joins from Bellpenny, has been hired as a paraplanner, while David Morris has been appointed financial planning advice manager from Arthur J Gallagher & Co.
