Janus Henderson poaches Mercer's Dean Cheeseman for multi-asset team

Lead portfolio manager at Mercer Dean Cheeseman has left the firm to join Janus Henderson Global Investors' multi-asset team as a fund manager.

His appointment coincides with the departure of fund manager Chris Forgan, who will leave Janus Henderson in August after nearly 12 years in the multi-asset team. Cheeseman, who will report to Janus's head of multi-asset Paul O'Connor (pictured), was responsible for $5.8bn (£4.5bn) of Mercer's active institutional strategies.
