Luca dal Mas, multi-asset manager at Barings Asset Management, has left after a decade with the firm.
This is the second exit from the firm's multi-asset team this month after Sonja Laud left to become head of equity at Fidelity International.
Dal Mas spent ten years at Barings working in the multi-asset and private client teams. Prior to that, he worked on the index-linker multi-manager funds at Darta Saving Life in Dublin, and helped set up the hedge fund operation of Banca IMI in Milan.
Barings said in a statement: "Luca has left Barings and we wish him the best in his future endeavors.
"Barings adheres to a team-based investment philosophy, believing that overall investment performance is enhanced by drawing upon the unique strengths of multiple experienced professionals to develop investment ideas and portfolio strategy. This minimises the impact of any individual portfolio manager departure.
"Additionally, we are committed to enhancing our multi-asset investment solutions, leveraging the strengths of the firm's expanded investment platform resulting from the formation of the new Barings in late 2016."
