Succession Group has made a number of changes to its executive team - a move the firm said would help to scale its operations to meet "increased demands for client-centric service and solutions".
James Stevenson, who joined the company in 2015 as group operating officer, has been appointed managing director of Succession Group while Sanjay Shah has been made managing director of Succession Advisory Services. Shah sold his IFA and corporate benefits business to Succession Group in 2014.
Simon Charles has meanwhile been appointed group human resources director. Charles is a new addition to the Succession Group but has almost 30 years of HR experience.
The appointments take effect immediately, with all three roles reporting to Ray Pierce (pictured), who took over as the group's executive chairman following the sudden death of founder and CEO Simon Chamberlain in March.
Pierce said: To successfully scale our operations to meet the increased demands for client-centric service and solutions requires the vision and people skills to deliver.
"These appointments reflect the continued development of the Succession team and underline our commitment to creating the UK's largest privately-owned wealth management businesses."
Succession has also made four senior management appointments to support the executive team - Hazel Hodge as membership director of Succession Advisory Services; Helen Blackmore as head of human resources at Succession Group; Karen King as head of learning and development; and Mark Stokes as group proposition and marketing director of Succession Group.
