Aviva confirms Paul Brencher as new protection MD

Aviva UK has confirmed Paul Brencher is now managing director of its individual protection business.

He took over the role at the beginning of August 2016 after working for Aviva in various senior management roles for nine years.  In April 2016, Professional Adviser's sister title Cover exclusively revealed that Aviva's former protection managing director Louise Colley left her role to become the UK digital customer propositions director at Aviva. Brencher joined Aviva in 2007 and most recently has been CFO for Europe and India, having previously been a director within the UK Life finance team.
