Novia launches duo of smart beta portfolios for UK advisers

Novia is to launch two smart beta exchange-traded fund (ETF) portfolios through its Copia discretionary fund manager service.

The platform provider has partnered with US ETF specialist First Trust Advisors and US-based momentum strategists Dorsey, Wright & Associates to create the portfolios. They will be available from 14 March and have a risk rating of 10 for adventurous investors. The Copia First Trust Smart Beta portfolio is made up of FTA's AlphaDEX® smart beta ETFs. These use the AlphaDEX® methodology, which selects and weights stocks based on investment merit, as opposed to size.
