IFAs paraded as 'extinct dinosaurs' by life company

Independent financial advisers have joined the Tyrannosaurus Rexs, Triceratops and Velociraptors as an extinct species in an exhibition sponsored by online life insurer Beagle Street.

The tongue-in-cheek show is on at The Dinosaur Museum on Britain's Jurassic coast in Dorset. It features a man in a suit holding a briefcase who is encased in glass to represent an IFA, alongside exhibits of prehistoric animals. Next to it is a placard stating: 'Independent financial advisers were a complex group of animals that first appeared in the pre-internet age.
