Ex-Positive Solutions consultant launches advice firm in Caerus network

Former Positive Solutions and Openwork consultant Martin Brown has launched an advisory firm authorised by the Caerus Capital Group network.

Continuum, which currently comprises 17 IFAs and has "specific growth plans" for the coming two years, offers a fully advised face-to-face service alongside a direct-to-consumer offering, which will allow clients to self-serve on certain products. Brown said he decided to set up the company after observing older business models in which the "needs of advisers and clients were not sufficiently well aligned", leading to "sub-optimal results for both".
