Succession acquires two member IFAs

Wealth management group and consolidator Succession has acquired two of its member IFA firms for £3m, as it seeks to reach £7bn of assets by 2017.

The two firms, Cornerstone Lifestyle Financial Planning and Hopkinson Associates, are regional family offices, with clients largely based in the North of England. They both joined Succession Advisory Services three years ago bringing in excess of £100m of funds under management to the group. Cornerstone managing director Malcolm Stone will be heading up Succession's development of a cash flow forecasting proposition, following the transaction.
