THOSE facing retirement are more concerned than ever about their financial security and income in retirement, according to a new report from LV=.
The 'State of Retirement' report reveals deep concerns among the nation's pre-retirement population, with 66pc revealing that in the last year, they have become increasingly worried about their financial security in retirement. More than four in ten people (42pc) fear that a recession will affect their wealth when they retire. Rising interest rates and media reporting of the credit crunch were also of concern. Almost a quarter of those facing retirement (24pc) are currently saving nothing at all, while just under half (46pc) haven't increased their savings despite having serious concern...
