Neptune launches US Max Alpha fund

Neptune has handed top performing manager Felix Wintle his second North American mandate, the US Max Alpha fund.

Soft launched by the boutique along with two other Max Alpha products, Wintle says the new fund will be concentrated portfolio of 30 stocks, with a 95% correlation to his US Opportunities fund. US Max Alpha has been seeded with £500,000 and the "higher alpha, higher risk" vehicle carries a performance fee above a set target. Neptune traditionally builds up a 12-month track record before marketing any new product, as seen with Geffen's Russia & Greater Russia and China vehicles.
