Aegon replaces UBS on Skandia Equity Blend portfolio

Skandia has added the Aegon UK Opportunities fund to its £100m UK Equity Blend portfolio.

The Aegon fund, which is managed by Audrey Ryan, will account for 19pc of the Skandia portfolio and will replace a mandate in the fund managed by UBS, which will continue to manage several other mandates across Skandia's multi-manager range. Ryan Hughes, one of Skandia's fund managers, said: "Audrey Ryan is a hugely talented fund manager who we have been utilising with our Ethical fund for a number of years - so her style of management is well known to us. She has demonstrated that she can deliver away from the ethical environment and we are delighted to include the UK Opportunities fund...
