Carl Stick's Rathbone Special Situations fund has had its OBSR rating removed, following continued underperformance and restructuring.
The fund previously had its A-Rating suspended after Stick announced his intentions to reshape the portfolio after a period of sustained underperformance. The fund is currently 23pc below the IMA UK All Companies sector average of -13pc at -36pc (bid-to-bid, according to Lipper, as at 27/06/08). Stick manages the fund on a 'value' basis, an investment style that has, until recently, generally outperformed 'growth' funds.
