Paul Bradshaw appointed chairman of Buckles

Paul Bradshaw is to become non-executive chairman of Rhyl-based IFA Buckles.

Bradshaw will also be appointed a non-executive director of Sanlam UK, which acquired a 60pc stake in Buckles in April this year. Bradshaw's career in financial services spans 35 years, and he has worked for a number of household names, including Abbey, Scottish Amicable and Skandia Life Assurance. Nigel Speirs, chief executive of Buckles, welcomed the appointment, calling Bradshaw one of the most experienced figures in the industry with knowledge and wisdom that fits in with Buckles' programme of expansion.
