Barclays Wealth unveils latest Super Tracker

Barclays Wealth has rolled out the latest iteration of its Super Tracker, a three-year version issued to meet demand for short-dated investments.

The FTSE 100-linked vehicle, open until 29 August, offers three times the rise in the index up to a maximum of 45pc, ergo the index only needs to rise by 15pc for investors to receive the full return. As with the five-year version - launched earlier this month - the three-year Super Tracker offers capital protection unless the FTSE 100 falls by more than 50pc from its initial index level and fails to recover by maturity, in which case capital is lost on a par with the index.
