Skandia to add to Best Ideas range

SKANDIA Investment Group (SIG) plans to launch a European Best Ideas fund, building on its existing suite of innovative Best Ideas funds.

The three existing Best Ideas funds have proved popular with UK advisers, growing to over £750m in just 18 months and leading to significant demand from Skandia's businesses in continental Europe. European Best Ideas is likely to be a long-only Dublin-based fund with Sterling, Euro and US Dollar share classes. It will initially be launched in eight countries in continental Europe and SIG is currently evaluating demand in the UK.
