Nepgen leaves Investec for Threadneedle

THREADNEEDLE Investments has hired technology specialist and global equity manager Pauline Nepgen from Investec Asset Management.

At Investec, Nepgen was named manager on the £2m Global Technology fund and contributed to global equity portfolios. In her new role she will cover the technology and telecoms sectors, with a regional responsibility for Asia. Nepgen will report to Jeremy Podger, executive director of global equities. Podger said: “Pauline brings to Threadneedle seven years of solid research and stock picking experience.
