A NEW unconstrained trust investing in a highly concentrated number of stocks has been unveiled by Bedlam Asset Management.
The Cherry Picker investment trust, which launches in June and will be capped at £100m, has been created by Bedlam as it believes there is a lack of global investment trusts using a bottom-up investment style. Ian McCallum, CIO and director at Bedlam who will head the trust alongside the managing director Jonathan Compton, said: “There appears to be a paucity of global investment trusts of the appropriate size which beam in on seeking out the best value companies worldwide.” The new offering, which will have between 25 and 30 holdings, will include a feature which rewards early invest...
