Skandia ideas take £330m

SKANDIA Investment Management's (SIML) two best ideas funds have taken more than £330m in funds under management in less than five months since launch.

SIML launched the best ideas concept in the UK with the launch of its Global Best Ideas fund on June 13, followed by the UK Best Ideas fund on October 11. The concept of both funds is to take the ten best ideas of ten top fund managers and slot them into one portfolio. It has been one of the investment success stories of the last six months, with, according to SIML figures, more than 2,500 advisers recommending the funds.
