New ETF provider offers first time access to full All Share universe

Lyxor Asset Management has entered the UK Exchange Traded fund (ETF) market with the launch of three new products.

The move means the group has become the first new ETF provider to join the London Stock Exchange since changes to stamp duty rules made it easier for overseas firms to issue new stock market traded index trackers in the UK. The Lyxor ETF FTSE All-Share, ETF FTSE100 and ETF FTSE250 bring the total number of ETFs offered on the London Stock Exchange to 53, and commentators have predicted it marks the start of an expected significant expansion of the UK ETF market.
