CLERICAL Medical has stressed the need for simplicity in the development of Personal Accounts, the Government's solution to the pension saving gap.
The pension provider cited its own research as evidence of the need for a simple system. It found one in four people had no pension saving at all, while one in three said they do not have enough information or understanding of pensions and savings to make a decision. Only 56pc of people have sought some sort of advice on saving for retirement.
