New Star opens up International Property to new platforms

NEW Star Asset Management has made its International Property fund available to intermediaries using the Skandia and FundsNetwork platforms.

The fund, which launched on 4 June this year, has already seen inflows of £225m in under a month as investors lap up the chance to gain global property exposure through a single vehicle. Richard Wilson, UK retail marketing director at New Star, said: “The addition of the fund to these two highly-respected platforms is testament to the unique structure and strong demand for the asset class.” The fund itself is currently shunning investment opportunities in Russia following Vladimir Putin’s threat to use nuclear weapons against the West.
