IFAs are lining up to become qualified in equity release advice, according to the ifs School of Finance (ifs).
The ifs School of Finance said demand for the Certificate in Regulated Equity Release (CeRER) had been "incredibly strong" in recent weeks despite increasing difficulties in the mainstream residential mortgage market. As times get tougher advisers are looking to increase the range of advice they can deliver.
