THE reshuffle of senior management at HSBC continues with the appointment of a new head of group investment businesses.
Alain Dromer, who has been in the role since 2001, has been replaced by the former chief executive of HSBC Private Bank in the UK, Channel Islands and Luxembourg Mark McCombe. In his new role, McCombe will be responsible for aligning the business more closely with the rest of the HSBC group. He will report directly to Stuart Gulliver, the chief executive of corporate, investment banking and markets, and group investment businesses.
