FundsNetwork rolls out tax wrapper tool

In a bid to educate advisers on the suitability of tax wrappers for their multitude of client requirements, Fidelity FundsNetwork has rolled out Tax Wrapper Analyser.

The launch comes in light of revelations that life companies are apparently failing to enlighten advisers on the topic - a survey by the funds supermarket revealed that 75pc of advisers are dissatisfied with the level of information imparted. The Tax Wrapper Analyser allows advisers to run various investment scenarios based on user-defined inputs. The differing taxations of a mutual fund, onshore bond and offshore bond are incorporated in the tool, which provides the adviser with the information necessary to ascertain which wrapper potentially works best in each scenario.
