Richard Philbin, CIO of Architas, AXA's new multi-manager investment business, has said it is a priority to hire "four to six" key appointments ahead of the launch of a new range of funds before the end of the year.
Philbin has only recently assumed his new position, following his departure from F&C earlier this year. He described his role as an "exciting ground-floor opportunity" and is relishing the potential opportunities the embryonic company offers. He said: "There will be four to six new names coming on board, ideally as soon as possible. We are very actively looking at the moment to get people on board. It is high on the priority list.
