Principal launches global property portfolio

A NEW Dublin-domiciled global property securities fund which utilises UCITS III powers has been launched by Principal Global Investors.

The company’s Global Property Securities fund is part of Principal Global Investors Funds, an umbrella portfolio. It will use the firm’s global research platform to give it an investment edge when selecting stocks. The platform works by using stock selection evaluation tools, including data from highly specialised independent researchers and a data management and screening framework to create a real time ranking of property securities around the world. The universe of stocks is then narrowed down into a buy list by the platform before analysts from Principal overlay their own research...
