Multi-manager chief Keith Speck leaves AXA

KEITH Speck, manager of the AXA Framlington Multi-manager range, has resigned from his position after nearly three years at the company.

He will be joining Santander Asset Management to head up its multi-manager operation in December, following the departures of James Bevan and John Kelly in the last year. Speck, who joined AXA in 2005 from Berry Asset Management, has worked alongside Casper Rock since 2006 on the multi-manager range, and was named manager on the AXA Framlington Multi-manager Growth, Balanced and Cautious Income funds. AXA Framlington, which took control of the multi-manager business in June 2006 from AXA Investment Management (AXA IM), is confident the business will continue to run smoothly under Rock. ...
