Iimia backs commodities and specialist growth

FUND of funds manager iimia has backed specialist growth funds and commodities to outperform the market.

The company’s multi-manager team, made up of Nick Greenwood, Richard Scott and Daniel Lockyer, revealed their portfolios were benefiting from exposure to both hard and soft commodities at present, as well as environmental and technology propositions. Greenwood, chief investment officer at iimia, said: “Commodities has been one of the most profitable areas for our portfolios in recent months. “We have remained optimistic about the outlook for the global economy, and this assessment gave us confidence that highly profitable conditions would continue for commodity producers.” iimia in...
